About Us

Our journey began in 2003 with our father, who was a weaver from Banaras. In the beginning, we used to manufacture Banarasi fabrics and sell them to brands in other cities — operating entirely in a B2B model.

However, in 2019, the lockdown hit, and our B2B business came to a complete halt. The artisans who used to weave for us left, and many of the buyers we had sold goods to disappeared with our payments. Our bank account was left with a zero balance.

That’s when we decided to change our path — instead of relying on brands, we would take the art of Banaras directly to the customer. But we had no money. We sold household scrap and managed to gather ₹7,000, which we used to restart our business. That same year, in 2019, we created a YouTube channel.

After five years of ups and downs, and relentless hard work, we finally began to gain some recognition. In 2024, we started uploading reels on social media, and within just one month, we reached 100,000 followers. People started recognizing our work in the market.

Today, we proudly work with over 50 artisans and have built a community of 400,000 followers — and this is just the beginning. Our mission is to take the art of Banaras to the global stage and give it the recognition it truly deserves.
